Mariam El Hussein

This project was launched in an effort to address the difficulties that deaf and hard of hearing students face in terms participation and inclusion in school lectures, meetings, and social interactions. Konektino operated as a sub-project of the Global Education Project at Keio Media Design.

The Global Education Project is one of the working groups at the Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University launched in April 2008. This project aims to realize a world where people take a stand both locally and globally for global issues. Using forefront distant learning technologies, this project provides opportunities for people to learn in a global environment, and increases awareness of global citizenship.
