Launching an Open-Source Vulnerability Scanner

To support my goals and ambitions of simplifying application security I created Vulnscan, an open-source and completely free to use a vulnerability scanner for iOS and macOS applications.

Vulnscan was built off the great work done by the makers of another security tool called MobSF but with very different end goals in mind. Unlike most other tools, Vulnscan was build to be used by application developers, not only security engineers.

To help with adoption, Vulnscan takes little to no setup and is designed to be used locally during development or integrated as part of a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

I'm often asked why Vulnscan is open-source and free and thankfully the answer is very simple. My goals and ambitions are to help companies and freelance developers to ship secure applications. And with the move to a mobile-first world, this is becoming increasingly important.

If you'd like to help out, please let me know.
